What Is the Wood Element?
Wood (木) is the element of beginnings, growth and benevolence — the spring force that pushes a seed through soil toward the light. In BaZi, Wood people are visionary, principled and expansive: they plant ideas, build organisations, and grow toward a future only they can see. Yang Wood is the towering tree (ambitious, upright, unbending); Yin Wood is the vine (flexible, persistent, winning through grace rather than force).
