1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing eightfates.me or using Eight Fates (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Eight Fates provides automated BaZi and Four Pillars charts and interpretations based on the birth details you enter. The readings are generated for entertainment, education, and self-reflection.

Readings do not constitute medical, financial, legal, psychological, or other professional advice. Do not use them as the sole basis for important decisions.

3. Free and Paid Services

The free experience includes your Four Pillars chart and an introductory reading. The optional complete reading currently costs $4.99 as a one-time purchase and adds five chapters covering career, relationships, vitality, the 2026 forecast, and ten-year luck cycles. There is no subscription or recurring charge.

We may change future prices or included features, but any change will be shown before you purchase.

4. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed by Gumroad and displayed in USD. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. By purchasing, you authorize Gumroad to charge the price shown at checkout.

Because a reading is a digital product delivered immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable after delivery, except where required by law or when a technical failure prevents delivery. For help, contact us with your Gumroad receipt ID. Never send full card details by email.

5. Access and Delivery

Use the same email for your Eight Fates reading and Gumroad checkout so we can match the receipt and unlock the correct reading. The private reading link is unlisted, not an account, so keep the link and your receipt secure.

The server-side reading record and its checkout attribution may remain available for up to 90 days. A copy may also remain in the browser you used until you clear or replace that browser data. Keep your Gumroad receipt in case you need delivery support.

6. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate birth details if you want a meaningful calculation.
• Only submit another person's birth details with their permission.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• Protect private reading links and do not publish another person's reading.
• Do not misuse the Service or attempt unauthorized access.

7. Intellectual Property

Content and software on eightfates.me are owned by Eight Fates or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use your reading for personal purposes, but you may not reproduce or distribute the Service itself without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that a reading is accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose. BaZi interpretations are subjective by nature.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eight Fates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid for the reading giving rise to that claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here with a revised date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
